Multilingual Playgroup Report (Feb.18, 2013) / 2月18日多言語子育てひろばを開催しました

On February 18, 2018,  Jafore's Multilingual Playgroup was held at Hokkori Heart Demachi.
23 people from Indonesia and Japan participated. Thank you for taking the time to be a part of our playgroup despite the cold rain!

What we did….
*Free play time
*Singing time "Hello to All the Children of the World"
*Free talk
*Counting from one to ten in German
*Story time "Tiga Sahabat Penangkap Bintang" in Indonesian (The Three Star Catchers)

We sang our theme song, "Hello to All the Children of the World" at the opening. The lyrics of this song contains "Hello" in nine languages.
The topic of chatting was "Maternal and Child Health Handbooks" from around the world. Each book was special and unique. It was fun learning that MCH book was first started in Japan and there are so many styles of childbirth and child care in the world.


Before story time, we learned how to count from one to ten in German from a volunteer member of the Kyoto Prefectural University. 



The story time was a little different from the usual. We used iPad instead of a picture book! All children seemed to love looking at new technology device. The story was ”Tiga Sahabat Penangkap Bintang” in Indonesian. You can download free Apps following the link below.

2013年2月18日、ほっこりはあと出町で「多言語子育てひろば」が開催されました。

今回も社会福祉協議会の方をゲストにお迎えしました。あいにくの雨で足元が悪いにもかかわらず、インドネシア・日本の家族２３名が集まりました。

はじまりはいつものテーマソング、「Hello to all the Children of the
World」をみんなで歌いました。歌詞に９つの言葉の「こんにちは」が入っている歌です。

今回のひろばのテーマは「出産と世界の母子手帳」でした。ひろばには、NPO法人 HANDS様からお借りした世界各国の母子手帳と、各自が持ち寄った日本の母子手帳が並びました。カラフルなイラスト付きや、アルバム風の作りなど、形や内容も様々。日本発祥の母子手帳が世界で利用されているのは嬉しいですね。母子手帳を見比べながら、離乳食の時期や、メニューについてもおしゃべりしました。

おしゃべりの時間の後は「左京×学生 縁ねっと」を通じて参加された京都府立大学の学生ボランティアさんにドイツ語の１〜１０の数え方を教わりました。



絵本の時間には、インドネシア語で「Tiga Sahabat Penangkap Bintang」（3人の仲間のスターキャッチャー）を読んで頂きました。iPadでの読み聞かせも新鮮で楽しかったです。
